Our Story

Piotr “Peter” Kielian grew up in Skrzyszow, Poland and since his early childhood was always known as the “car-crazy kid” with a big dream of opening his own auto repair shop one day. In early 90’s, he had move to Chicago, IL and right about that time decided to chase his dream.

Over the course of several years Peter had worked at numerous auto repair shops and was able to gain experience as well as expand his knowledge and expertise in auto repair business. In 1998, Peter found himself in between jobs and as a passionate automotive enthusiast decided to work for himself and opened his first shop.

As time passed by, the business was growing, clients were happy; each month more of them. It was time for Peter to move on and make his dream come true.When the opportunity to purchase Delta Auto Service arose, he took a leap of faith and even though at that time the shop was in shambles, Peter knew that he could make it thrive.

The “new” Delta Auto Service opened its doors for business on May 18, 2001.

The first year was tough because Peter was new to running a business. He wore every hat there was to wear; marketing, manager, technician, customer service, cleaner. Soon, he hired one auto mechanic and Peter’s wife Edith came in and helped out.

Because of Peter’s and his employees’ hard work, sacrifices and determination, now it is a well-established business with an immaculate reputation in the community and bright future ahead.
